Summary
NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado is the political leader of the pro-choice community in Colorado. A 501(c)(4) organization, NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado uses all aspects of the political process – voter education and mobilization; recruiting, training and supporting or opposing candidates for public office; and public policy reform at all levels of government – to ensure Colorado women and their families have access to the information and health care services they need to make responsible decisions throughout their reproductive lives to prevent unintended pregnancy, bear healthy children, or access safe, legal abortion. These activities are carried out in collaboration with NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
The Operations Associate is responsible to create and maintain an orderly office environment to enable other staff to effectively execute programmatic and fundraising activities. The position entails office management; processing of accounts payable; management of the organizational database of donors and constituents; planning, coordination and production of external print, e-mail, web and social media communications; administrative, information technology, human resources support for all staff; board and executive support; and assistance for special events and projects. Occasional evening or weekend hours required.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage execution of several critical projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external purposes; very strong editing and proofreading skills
- Extremely strong computer skills for Windows systems, including troubleshooting and basic networking; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat professional; ability to learn new programs quickly and teach others
- Familiarity with constituent management databases (Donor Perfect Online preferred), including comfort with database design, data migration, and list analysis
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), PAC, and SDC entities and their different legal opportunities; experience with financial processing for a multiple-entity organization such as NPCC
- Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3 and prior graphic design or desktop publishing experience
- Experience with e-mail publishing platforms (Constant Contact and Salsa preferred) and web site content management systems; basic knowledge of HTML
- Experience with Voter Activation Network (VAN) and demographic targeting; event management software (AuctionPay); and online payment platforms (Greater Giving and PayPal preferred)
