NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio's mission is to use the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal reproductive decisions including: preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing safe and legal abortion.
NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio recruits interns year-round. We are looking for motivated, pro-choice students to assist in shaping the political landscape of Ohio. Because of the location of our development activities Development/Fundraising internships are only available in our Cleveland office.
Responsibilities:
Development/Fundraising interns will assist in our donor outreach, grants writing, and event planning processes. Because we are a small non-profit organization development and donor cultivation are critical aspects of our day-to-day functioning. Development/Fundraising interns will be responsible for:
- Helping to staff event committees
- Help organize major donor outreach campaign
- Assist with tracking and writing grant proposals
- Assist in direct mail fundraising
- Coordinate house parties in communities around the state
- Help with other development/fundraising projects as needed
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for internship positions, as is the ability to work independently.
