Anti-Choice Legislation Attacks on Contraception Bill Number: ND  H  1572 Summary: Is intended to impose near-total ban on abortion. Includes an exception only to prevent a woman's death. Defines personhood as beginning at fertilization, which could lead to prohibitions on most contraceptives and fertility treatments. Broadens definition of abortion so that it could include contraception. Amends definition of human being throughout criminal code to include "unborn child," fetus, and embryo.
