We hope you will join us for an evening of cabaret and dance to protect our pro-choice values.  We are thrilled to announce that renowned film, television and Broadway actress Emily Bergl  ("Desperate Housewives," "Men in Trees," "The Rage: Carrie 2") will headline the evening with her critically acclaimed cabaret show "Kidding on the Square." Diablo Ballet will open the entertainment program with selections performed by internationally recognized dancers.

Emily Bergl

Emily Bergl burst on to the cabaret scene last year with her hit show at the Oak Room, "Kidding on the Square." This past May she and musical director Jonathan Mastro brought their follow up show, "NY I Love You," to the legendary Café Carlyle, once again garnering rave reviews. Since then she has been touring the country with her unique blend of traditional and nouveau cabaret. Ms. Bergl's day job is acting on and off Broadway, and in television and films. Her latest project is the new Woody Allen film, to be released in May. She is well known for her role as tragic housewife Beth Young on "Desperate Housewives," and in past seasons she has starred on TV shows such as "Southland" and "Men in Trees." She has also starred on and off Broadway opposite Laurence Fishburne, Stockard Channing, Gabriel Byrne, and others. Ms. Bergl will return to Broadway in January opposite Scarlett Johansen in "Cat on Hot Tin Roof," and her new cabaret show will premiere at 54 Below in the spring. "Emily Bergl: Live at the Algonquin," the last album to be recorded in the historic Oak Room, is available on Amazon and iTunes.
