Voted to allow hospitals to refuse to provide emergency abortion care to women who could die without it.
On his congressional website, Rep. Schweikert states:"As part of my dedication to end all practice of abortion, I am a co-sponsor of H.R. 217, the Title X Abortion Provider Act, which would deny any and all federal funding to Planned Parenthood. I am also a co-sponsor of H.R. 3, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act, which would explicitly prohibit any taxpayer funding for abortions."
