Voted twice against the proposal to block Planned Parenthood from receiving any federal funds, which would have denied millions of Americans access to contraception, cancer screenings, and other basic medical care.
Voted against H.R.3, a bill that would ban abortion coverage in state health-insurance exchanges; impose tax penalties on small businesses and many individuals who purchase private health plans that include abortion coverage; and make permanent several restrictions that block many women from accessing abortion care.
Voted to ensure that hospitals must provide emergency abortion care to women who could die without it.
"'I support a woman's right to choose, I support Roe v. Wade - I'm not for repealing that,' Chandler said."
"The Right to Life people don't like my position, and the pro-choice people don't either. So I just try to call it as best I can in the middle - that's just how I see the issue."
"I think it ought to be legal and rare. I think we should try to limit the number of abortions to the best of our ability, but I don't think that we ought to prevent a woman from getting an abortion."
Andy Barr (R) is anti-choice.
Randolph Vance (I) has no known position on choice.
