Bob Roggio (D)

• Bob Roggio is a retired businessman and Democratic activist. He is running against staunchly anti-choice incumbent Representative Jim Gerlach.
• Representative Gerlach received a 50% rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America.  In 2006, Gerlach aggressively attacked then-opponent Lois Murphy for her pro-choice position and her involvement with NARAL Pro-Choice America.
• On his campaign website, Roggio states, "I believe in a woman's right to choose. No federal, state or local government should interfere with a decision based on personal values. I also believe that our country needs to come together in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies, and focus on family planning."
