NARAL Pro-Choice America Congratulates Colleen Hanabusa
Hanabusa’s win marks pro-choice pick-up in HawaiiWashington, D.C. – Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, praised the voters of Hawaii's 1st Congressional District for electing NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC-endorsed candidate Colleen Hanabusa.
“Rep.-elect Hanabusa’s victory puts this seat back into the pro-choice column, which means voters will have a consistent champion for the values of freedom and privacy in Congress,” Keenan said. “We look forward to working with Rep.-elect Hanabusa in standing up for a woman’s right to choose in a new Congress with many anti-choice politicians who will take aim at women’s reproductive health-care.”
NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC contributed $10,000 to Colleen Hanabusa’s campaign and mobilized its 652 member activists in this district in support of her campaign.
