Call Your Senator: Stop Michael Boggs

Judicial nominee Michael Boggs is even worse than we thought. We just uncovered evidence that Boggs voted for a bill that would have laid the groundwork for "personhood," which is one step away from overturning Roe v. Wade.1

That’s not all. Boggs also voted to put detailed information about abortion providers on the Internet, including how often they provided abortion services.2 A list like had the potential to be exploited by anti-choice extremists that seek to harass and terrorize doctors at their homes and offices.

  1. Dial the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your Senator's office.
  2. Tell the person who answers the phone: "I’m a constituent, and I'd like the senator to know that I strongly oppose Michael Boggs’ judicial nomination. New information has come out about Boggs' vote for an amendment laying the groundwork for "personhood," which is an anti-choice strategy to attack Roe v. Wade. I'd like Sen.______ to ask Boggs about this and his full anti-choice record during his hearing with the Judiciary Committee."
