Restrictions on Who May Provide Abortion Services

Nebraska prohibits certain qualified health-care professionals from providing abortion services.

Only a physician licensed by the state to practice medicine in the state may provide abortion care. Neb. Rev. Stat. §28-326(3) (Enacted 1978), Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-335 (Enacted 1977).
