NARAL Pro-Choice America Responds to Gov. Sarah Palin’s Speech at Anti-Choice Event in Indiana

Washington, D.C. –NARAL Pro-Choice America released the following statement after Gov. Sarah Palin's speech before an anti-choice organization in Evansville, Indiana on Thursday, April 16.

"We think Gov. Sarah Palin was fortunate to have had access to full information, unbiased counseling, excellent medical care, and the space in which to make the private decision that was best for her and her family. Every American woman deserves the same. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Gov. Palin sounds remarkably pro-choice," said Elizabeth J. Shipp, political director at NARAL Pro-Choice America.
