35th Anniversary Speech at the University of Texas at Austin

On January 17, Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, delivered a speech on the future of the pro-choice movement and the moral complexity surrounding abortion, on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. Keenan's speech marks the 35th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark decision Roe v. Wade, a case that originated in Texas.

Roe v. Wade 35th Anniversary Luncheon in Washington, DC

On January 29, NARAL Pro-Choice America held its Roe v. Wade 35th Anniversary Luncheon in Washington, DC. The event featured actress Dana Delany as the Mistress of Ceremonies, Sarah Weddington, the attorney who argued and won the Roe v. Wade case, as the keynote speaker, and Everyday Heroes Karen Romano, Faith Pennick, and Tina Briscoe.
