My early education was as a med tech and I worked in hospital laboratories. In the case of womans rights I worked in a town with a university that declared in loco parentas, making any requests for birth control advise or preganancy testing thru the university health center reportable to the parents. A group of us set up an alternate facility. The state also had made abortions illegal, so some students were going over the state line to a back room facility , where infection rates were high. We set up a flight and taxi service to get women to New York where abortion was legal and done in a sterile hospital setting. This was before the male dominated right to lifers started targeting legtimate facilities. Keep up the good work.
