When Judson Memorial church in NYC began a choice campaign, we began one in Philadelphia. I contacted clergy and got it started. Then we organized a lay campaign calling it PARA, Pennsylvania Abortian Rights Association. I helped the American Baptists to vote in a choice national vote; and worked with other denominations. We began a CHOICE office in Philadelphia which continues today. I worked straight on through to Roe versus WAde in active campaigning. I wish the children who do not have homes had as vital a campaign as thsoe who are againt abortion. I wish women did not have to have abortions. But I know that a woman must be in charge of her own body. I also was on the original board of NARAL for three terms. I am now an ordained minister. Barbara ( Johnson) McNeel Moran
