I used to hold anti-abortion beliefs. While I still could never choose abortion for myself, I believe it is arrogant of us to assume that we can know the circumstances that cause women to choose abortion. Rather than working to deny the option of safe abortion to women, let us work toward creating a society in which abortion will be unnecessary.
