I can remember the time when I was 14 years old and there was a girl in my gym class who got pregnant. Abortions were not legal at the time. She tried to hide it from her parents as long as she could. Many of us knew about this and worried about her getting hurt while we played volley ball etc. She actually cut herself to get blood to try to convince her mother that she was getting her period.Her boyfriend panicked and enlisted in the army.He knew that he could be arrested. She was all alone. Finally the teachers seemed to become aware of it. We never saw her again. I don't know what happened to her. I never forgot it. She was just 14 years old. Her life was severely changed just because she made a mistake.
