Early on, from my own personal experiences growing up in a dysfunctional family setting, I always believed that women should have the right to be in control of their own bodies, and that goverment and polictics should not interfere with personal choice issues. It needs to be removed from the political arena. Religious beliefs, too, should not even be a consideration--as that, too, is a purely personal issue which anti-abortionists insist on 'coupling' with the subject of abortion.
