Tonight, NARAL Pro-Choice America National Communications Director Kaylie Hanson released the following statement on Donald Trump’s affirmation that he is an anti-choice candidate:
“It’s no surprise that tonight Donald Trump underscored his commitment to making a woman’s decisions about her body and autonomy on her behalf. We can only expect that in the White House he will ‘treat [women] like sh*t‘ as evidenced by shaming and blaming Michelle Fields, his general offensive rhetoric towards women, and his support for policies like shutting down the government over Planned Parenthood funding and an unconstitutional abortion ban. We’re going to help Donald Trump own his misogynistic, anti-choice record, and we’ll fight like hell to make sure Hillary Clinton is our president.”
