Kerrigan has spent decades fighting for the rights of all Americans, including as a member of the NARAL board and the EMILY’s List Creative Committee. A native of Lancaster and Massachusetts’s 3rd District, Kerrigan has worked in all aspects of government, from local government to the State House and the halls of Congress. In 2009, Steve worked with Sen. Kennedy and local 9/11 families to establish the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, which supports the families of fallen service members. In support of these local efforts, Kerrigan helped raise more than $2 million in support of more than 200 Massachusetts military families.
