NARAL Pro-Choice America Endorses Andy Kim for Congress

NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Andy Kim for New Jersey’s 3rd District in Congress. This seat is currently represented by Republican Tom MacArthur, and is key to winning a pro-choice majority in Congress.

“NARAL members are proud to stand behind Andy Kim as he stands up for the reproductive rights of women and families across New Jersey and our whole country,” said Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “The people of New Jersey support access to legal abortion, and firmly believe that women have the right to make our own decisions about our own lives, bodies, and futures. They deserve to be represented by fighters like Andy who will work to protect and expand reproductive freedom for all.”

A native of New Jersey’s 3rd District, Kim has a deep understanding of the importance of women’s rights and reproductive freedom to this district. Kim is committed expanding access to quality healthcare, and to ensuring the Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) is permanently funded so that children and pregnant women can get the healthcare they need, and the program is no longer a political football.
