NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC today announced its endorsement of Tina Smith for United States Senate from Minnesota. Minnesota is considered one of the critical races in the 2018 election.
“Tina Smith has been a champion for Minnesota women and reproductive rights and we are proud to support her. As Senator, she will continue to be a leader in the effort to defend our reproductive freedom and access to abortion care. ” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “We need Senators like Tina Smith who will fight back against Trump’s anti-choice, anti-woman agenda. NARAL’s members and supporters in Minnesota are ready to fight for her as she’s fought for their reproductive freedom.”

A former Lieutenant Governor for Minnesota, Tina Smith has fought for reproductive rights at both the state and local level. She served as the first vice president for external affairs for Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and remains a passionate advocate for Planned Parenthood and the millions of women it serves every year.
