Candidate in Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District Earns Endorsement from Nation’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group

NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Chrissy Houlahan in her campaign to represent Pennsylvania’s 6th Congressional District. The seat is currently held by an anti-choice Republican Ryan Costello.
“We need people like Chrissy Houlahan in Congress who will fight for women and families and against the extremist anti-choice agenda,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “Chrissy is a mom who cares deeply about advancing gender equality so that women are one day truly equal partners in society. This race is key to establishing a pro-choice majority in the House of Representatives, and we’ll work hard to get her elected.”

Chrissy Houlahan is a veteran with a background in science and technology. She attended Stanford University on an ROTC scholarship and served in the U.S. Air Force. She and her husband Bart live in Chester County where they raised two fiercely independent daughters.
