NARAL Pro-Choice America today endorsed Ammar Campa-Najjar in his campaign to represent California’s 50th Congressional District, a seat currently held by corrupt anti-choice Congressman Duncan Hunter.
“Ammar Campa-Najjar is a champion for reproductive freedom who is ready to fight for everyone’s ability to make their own decisions about pregnancy and abortion with the people they trust, free from interference by politicians,” said Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “Californians deserve someone who will put their fundamental freedoms first. NARAL is proud to endorse Ammar’s campaign to bring the leadership that California women and families deserve to Congress.”
“I am grateful to have the support of NARAL,” said Campa-Najjar. “As a strong advocate for women’s rights, I’ll be a congressman who will vote to protect individual liberties and privacy, uphold Roe v Wade as the Constitutionally-recognized law of the land and do all I can to protect women’s reproductive freedom.”
Ammar Campa-Najjar is a native of East County who is running for Congress to be an independent voice for California’s 50th District. He is a business owner and former administration official who served in the Labor Department to make sure every working family had an opportunity to succeed. Unlike extreme anti-choice incumbent Duncan Hunter, Campa-Najjar will be a proud voice for reproductive freedom and fight back against anti-choice movement’s radical agenda.
