NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Representative Earl Blumenauer in his campaign for re-election to represent Oregon’s 3rd Congressional District.
“As Donald Trump and his anti-choice allies continue to wage an all-out assault on reproductive freedom, we need strong, determined leaders like Representative Blumenauer,” said Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “Representative Blumenauer has stood up for the rights of Oregon women and families his entire career and NARAL is proud to support his re-election campaign to send a dedicated fighter for Oregon back to Congress.”

Representative Earl Blumenauer has served in the Oregon House, on the Portland City Commission, and in the U.S. House of Representatives. He has been a consistent advocate for Oregon women and families, earning a 100% rating with NARAL throughout his career. In Congress, Representative Blumenauer has worked hard to protect and expand reproductive freedom by co-sponsoring legislation like the Women’s Health Protection Act, the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH Woman) Act, and the Global Health Empowerment and Rights (HER) Act.
