NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Jessica González-Rojas in her campaign to represent New York’s 34th Assembly District.
“Jessica González-Rojas is a lifelong, tireless advocate for reproductive freedom,” says Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “NARAL is proud to endorse her so she can bring her leadership and expertise to the New York State Legislature and work to ensure that women in the state are free to make their own personal decisions about pregnancy without interference from politicians.”
“As a long-time leader in the reproductive justice movement, I am thrilled to be supported by NARAL, an ally and partner in the fight to ensure reproductive rights and freedom for everyone,” said Jessica González-Rojas. “I am running to be a champion in the New York State Legislature for reproductive justice, abortion access and health care for all. State governments are the frontlines in the battle to ensure each person can decide for themselves if, when and how to create a family. I am honored to have NARAL as part of our coalition to fight for a more bold and progressive New York.”
