Cuellar ad against Jessica Cisneros in TX-28 is a dishonest trick taken straight from GOP and anti-choice movement’s playbook

In response to anti-choice Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar’s new television ad against progressive, pro-choice Democratic challenger Jessica Cisneros, NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue issued the following statement: 

“Congressman Cuellar’s anti-choice views are on full display as he pulls this latest dishonest trick out of the anti-choice playbook. In this desperate and miscalculated move, he is also illustrating to the voters of Texas’ 28th congressional district exactly why Jessica Cisneros is the champion who should replace him in Congress. She understands that women, not politicians, should be the ones making personal decisions about pregnancy, free from political interference.”
