Incumbent U.S. Senator and Representative Earn Endorsement from Nation’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group to Represent Delaware in Congress
Washington, DC — Today NARAL Pro-Choice America announced its endorsement of incumbent Senator Chris Coons in the Delaware Democratic Primary and incumbent Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester in the November general election. Sen. Coons has served in the Senate since 2010 and has a 100% voting record from NARAL in the Congressional Record on Choice. Rep. Blunt Rochester has served as Delaware’s at-large representative since 2017 and has earned a 100% from NARAL in the Congressional Record on Choice.
“Senator Coons has a proven record of fighting for Delaware women and families and championing their values in the Senate,” said NARAL Pro-Choice America President llyse Hogue. “In the midst of Trump and the Republican Party’s all-out assault on reproductive freedom, we need Senator Coons in the Senate to fight back against unyielding anti-choice attacks. We are proud to endorse Senator Coons and look forward to continuing our work together to protect and expand reproductive freedom.”

During his time in elected office, Sen. Coons has pushed back against constant attacks on reproductive freedom, including by rejecting anti-choice judicial nominees like his recent vote against anti-choice judges Stephen McGlynn and David Dugan, and fighting against numerous attempts by Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Rep. Rochester has fought tirelessly to protect and expand reproductive freedom during her time in the House of Representatives, voting against the Trump Administration’s domestic gag rule and other anti-choice bills that threaten reproductive freedom.
