Washington, DC  Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a tireless champion for civil rights, reproductive freedom, and social justice, today died after serving 27 years on the Supreme Court. NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue released the following statement:

“We are devastated by the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a fervent champion for equality and justice, including reproductive freedom, a brilliant legal scholar, and a force to be reckoned with on the Supreme Court. She will be so deeply missed. We will honor her legacy by fighting for everything she believed in and hold fast to the principles she espoused every day by never ceasing to believe that a more just and equitable union is possible.”
