Defeat of anti-choice, anti-freedom Republican challenger Thomas Kean Jr. is a win for New Jersey and reproductive freedom
New Jersey — Earlier today, New Jersey voters reelected NARAL-endorsed incumbent Rep. Tom Malinowski to represent New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. His victory over anti-choice, anti-freedom Republican challenger Thomas Kean Jr. marks a huge win for reproductive freedom.
In response to Rep. Malinowski’s reelection, NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue released the following statement:
“We are proud to have endorsed Representative Tom Malinowski, a proven champion for reproductive freedom, and congratulate him on winning reelection. It’s clear that voters in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District understand that the stakes are higher than ever and refuse to allow anti-choice, anti-freedom politicians like Thomas Kean Jr. to trample on their fundamental rights. We are thankful to have Representative Malinowski with us in the fight for our fundamental rights and look forward to continuing our work together to protect and expand reproductive freedom.”
