Representative Judy Chu (CA-27) is the first Chinese American woman to be elected to Congress. She is a champion of reproductive freedom and serves as Chair of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Chu leads the work around the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which protects the right to access abortion care, free from bans, obstacles, and medically unnecessary restrictions.
