Dahlia Lithwick
Senior Editor, Slate Magazine

Dahlia Lithwick is an award-winning senior editor at Slate and has written the “Supreme Court Dispatches” and “Jurisprudence” columns since 1999. Lithwick is host of "Amicus", Slate's podcast focusing on law, justice and the courts. In 2018, Lithwick received the American Constitution Society’s Progressive Champion Award, and the Hillman Prize for Opinion and Analysis. Lithwick won a 2013 National Magazine Award for her columns on the Affordable Care Act. She has been twice awarded an Online Journalism Award for her legal commentary.

She was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in October of 2018. Lithwick earned her BA in English from Yale University and her JD degree from Stanford University. She is currently working on a new book, Lady Justice, for Penguin Press.

Ilyse Hogue
President, NARAL Pro-Choice America

Ilyse Hogue is an expert in organizing and mobilizing grassroots support around social-justice issues, including human rights, media reform and representation, and reproductive freedom. She has been president of NARAL Pro-Choice America since 2013 and previously worked at advocacy organizations including MoveOn.org, Friends of Democracy, and Media Matters. During her tenure at NARAL, Ilyse has pushed the national conversation around abortion access to be one of fundamental human rights and self-determination for women. She has run successful campaigns defending abortion access on the national and state level, and supporting winning candidates for Congress who made reproductive freedom central to their agenda.
