Rep. Lauren Underwood

Representative Lauren Underwood (she/hers)

Congresswoman Lauren Underwood represents Illinois' 14th Congressional District, a suburban, exurban, and rural district in northern Illinois. She flipped this seat from red to blue in a historic fashion in 2018, defeating a four-term Republican incumbent, and in 2020 became the first Democrat ever to be re-elected in IL-14. She was reelected in 2022 for her third term. In 2018, Congresswoman Underwood was the first person of color, first woman, and first millennial elected to represent her district. When she was sworn into office in 2019, she became the youngest Black woman to ever serve in Congress. In 2023, Lauren conquered another first – she became the first Black woman since Shirley Chisholm to be elected to Democratic House Leadership. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

Olivia Julianna

Abortion Rights Activist

Olivia Julianna (she/her)

Olivia Julianna is an abortion rights activist from Houston, Texas. She is most well known for initiating the takedown of a whistleblower website that targeted those in the state of Texas who aided in abortion access, working with Democratic campaigns across the country, and for raising $2.2 million for abortion funds after she was publicly attacked by Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz. Her audience across social platforms is over 1 million-- where she makes political commentary content and analysis videos. She was named as one of Bloomberg's 50 most influential people of the year in 2022, the Planned Parenthood South East Legends in the making award-- which was previously awarded to Congressman John Lewis, and the Ms. Foundation's Marie C. Wilson Emerging Leader Award. She had also actively partnered with organizations like Planned Parenthood and ActBlue to create digital content around activism and education.

Annie Wu Henry

Progressive Social Media & Digital Strategist

Annie Wu Henry (she/her)

Annie Wu Henry is a progressive social media and digital strategy expert. With a deep belief in the power of on-the-ground organizing, electoral work, and online media, she actively contributes to all three aspects. Currently, she holds the positions of Creative Director at AAPI Victory Fund and Digital Consultant for Working Families Party, where her visionary approach has propelled campaigns and initiatives to new heights. Notably, she recently served as the social media producer for John Fetterman's successful Senate campaign in Pennsylvania. As a strategist, creator and political operative, Annie has been profiled by the New York Times, contributed to some of the largest online advocacy platforms like @feminist, @impact, @shityoushouldcareabout, @intersectionalenvironmentalist, @so.informed, @genzforchange and has had a myriad of content "go viral," being shared by the likes of Rachel Cargle, Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, Ariana Grande, Yara Shahidi, the Kardashians, Jenners, Olivia Rodrigo + more. Through her personal platform, she engages her own following to inform and activate them about the world and how they can get involved to push for change. She is passionate about progressive politics, press notifications, pop culture, pressed coffee and people who do the right thing.

Mini Timmaraju (she/her)

Mini Timmaraju is a seasoned campaigner, skilled coalition-builder, high-impact organizer, and talented organizational leader with over 20 years of experience leading federal, state, and local campaigns, as well as advocacy efforts around reproductive rights, gender justice, and racial justice. Mini has a wealth of governmental and political experience at the state and federal level, including advising the Biden-Harris administration on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and serving as Women’s Vote Director on the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Mini has also worked on reproductive rights in Texas and at the national level and worked for several members of Congress.
