Just days ahead of the one year anniversary of the devastating fall of Roe v. Wade, NARAL is bringing together our top supporters for a day of community and conversation. We hope that you will join us for this one-day event in Washington D.C. to meet with leaders and hear from experts on the pressing issues around reproductive freedom.

Mini Timmaraju
President, NARAL Pro-Choice America

Mini is a seasoned campaigner, skilled coalition-builder, high-impact organizer, and talented organizational leader with over 20 years of experience leading federal, state, and local campaigns, as well as advocacy efforts around reproductive rights, gender justice, and racial justice. Mini has a wealth of governmental and political experience at the state and federal level, including advising the Biden-Harris administration on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and serving as Women’s Vote Director on the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Mini has also worked on reproductive rights in Texas and at the national level and worked for several Members of Congress.

Emmy Ruiz
Former Democratic Campaign Advisor

Emmy Ruiz, a former campaign aide to Vice President Kamala D. Harris, Secretary Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama, and Democratic Chairman Tom Perez. She is also a co-founder and former partner at NEWCO Strategies, a minority-majority political firm. She currently serves as Assistant to the President and White House Director of Political Strategy & Outreach for the Biden-Harris administration. Born in Harlingen, Texas, Emmy is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. She lives in Washington, DC with her wife and two sons.

Emmy is attending this event in her personal capacity.

Jessica Knight Henry
Deputy Executive Director and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC)

Jessica previously served as the Political and Engagement Director for the DSCC in the 2020 cycle. Prior to joining the DSCC, Jessica was the National Development Director for Supermajority. Her past experience includes work for the DNC, the League of Conservation Voters, and the Congressional Black Caucus Political Action Committee. Jessica is an active volunteer with numerous service commitments in the Washington D.C. area and her home state of Mississippi. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Molly Murphy
Pollster and Campaign Strategist

Molly has worked on some of the most consequential campaigns in recent history. Molly has experience with hundreds of statewide, congressional, and local races all over the country, helping elect Democrats in Republican and swing districts on top of making it possible for Democrats to prevail in competitive primaries. In addition to her work with candidates, Molly serves as a lead advisor for the DCCC, as well as closely supporting the DSCC and DGA to elect Democrats across the country.
