Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, H.R.1. Final passage. A bill to overhaul the tax system which eliminates the Affordable Care Act’s requirement for individuals to purchase health insurance. (Some anti-choice lawmakers cast what appear to be pro-choice votes; most observers recognize that those votes were cast for reasons unrelated to reproductive health.). Passed 51-49. A pro-choice vote (✓) was against the bill (12/2/17).
