Cole (R-OK) amendment to strike a provision in the appropriations bill that would have blocked the implementation and enforcement of the Trump administration's anti-choice rule that allows health care providers and others involved in patient care to put their personal beliefs above patients' health and safety. Failed 192-230.* A pro-choice vote (+) was against the amendment. (6/12/19). *Final tally may include representatives of Washington D.C. and U.S. territories, whose votes are not dispositive of the final outcome, per House rules.
